We are happy to take you into our stories
…, but tough reality. The afternoon news of October 28, 2020 predicts what will end up in the S-wan mailbox a few hours later. Both Tourism Flanders and Visit Bruges let us know that from midnight on 28 October onwards, the measures of the Flemish government will be tightened and that guided tours may no longer take place from that moment on. What is not mentioned in the press or in the e-mails is for how long the measures apply.
On hold ...
No matter how harsh this may sound, this is certainly the right choice given the terrible infection rates and the dire situation in hospitals. We'll have to go through it together. To keep it safe for everyone, to help prevent hospitals from collapsing under the pressure, all our guided tours, such as our Halloween Walk Dark Nights and the Garden of Hades at the Bruges cemetery, have been postponed and all our other guide activities have been put on hold indefinitely.
We continue to work
This cannot and will not stop us from continuing to work behind the scenes on how we can improve the experience for our visitors. We are also going to focus on the renewal of old walks and, who knows, we will even draft and launch some new tours. You can follow all this on our blog page.
We will keep you informed
We will keep you informed of the situation through our website and our social media channels, such as Facebook and Instagram, and of course, when we may restart our operations. Do you have questions or would you like more information? Then you can always contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org. Also read our blogs, they might be able to get you “going” for a themed walk through Bruges once we are allowed to leave our homes for other than necessary movements...
Take good care of each other and see you soon in better times.
